Saanich Student Paper on Modernizing Secondary Education

This paper represents the consensus view of 100 students from five secondary schools in School District 63 Saanich and is based on thoughts compiled during a day-long student forum on May 27, 2010. Following the forum, five students gathered to review the outcomes of that day and to create the themes that form the basis of this paper. For a list of authors and contacts please refer to the end of the paper.

Learning in the digital age

What is learning in a digital age?

Welcome to our new District Web Page

I am delighted to share this message with you as part of the launch of our new website. While the most obvious change is the look, including the graphics and the way the website is laid out, what you will experience as a user is a much more vibrant and interactive environment. You will see more frequent updates of key information and we hope that you will find information easier to access and manage. All of this is due to the fine work of our technology team led by our Director of Information Technology, Gregg Ferrie.
